In a recent episode of the "Health Ranger Report," ex-Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich tackled the displacement of people as a cause of the ongoing wars in Gaza and Ukraine with the Health Ranger Mike Adams . The two pointed out how the United States' twisted immigration policy opened its borders to all refugees when there was a clear danger that terrorists or criminal groups could take advantage of the "humanitarian" intentions to invade the country. "We rushed the U.S. Navy to the Mediterranean Sea to defend Israel's borders. But there's no defense of our borders, not even a rational immigration policy," Adams said as he admitted supporting rational immigration as the types of foreigners this brings come with many wonderful properties and contributions to the nation. He added that in many ways, they even value America more than Americans do. Agreeing with the Health Ranger that it is entirely different when it comes to President Joe Biden's open border policy, Kucinich said that it is difficult for the U.S. to understand the need to have borders and the need to regularize the entry of people into the country. "The fact that the borders were essentially deconstructed and we know that some of the people who came in represented criminal gangs… is a horrific situation," the former Cleveland mayor said. "We know that people are trying to come to America in search of a better life there and trying to find a way to survive. But if we were very clear about having a closed border, we wouldn't be in this situation." He added that the United States need to reestablish the borders, make them secure and provide a means for people who want to emigrate to the U.S. to be able to do so. (Related: As U.S. helps Israel ethnically cleanse the “holy land,” Biden is deploying heavy machinery to U.S. southern border to LIFT razor wire, allowing more illegals to flood into America.) Kucinich then stressed the role of wars in creating mass migrations of people. Adams agreed, noting how the creation of refugees is causing economic destitution in many areas. The Natural News founder cited Germany as an example. "Look at what happened with the NordStream pipeline and then its blowback on Germany's economy. When we cut off Russia from the SWIFT system, we can't trade with Russia. And so, Russia ended up investing in its domestic economy rather than offshoring money. It became very strong in terms of industrial output while the West is hurt by the lack of fertilizer and aluminum as well as energy coming out of Russia." At this point, Kucinich raised the importance of installing "right" people into government office. "The people who come into office with a president can have a major impact on world affairs. The United States ought to be a beacon of light for the world. We cannot be telling people all around the world, 'It's my way or the highway,'" he pointed out. He then looked back at his 16 years serving in Congress, where he met a lot of decision-makers who decided who was going to live and die in other countries. "We must believe that there is a spiritual or moral responsibility we have to each other as not just citizens of our country, but citizens of the world," he emphasized.

Young Democrats are now calling for ceasefire in Israel

Leaning towards the topic of choosing the right people who are elected to office – those who have wisdom and maturity and share the values of desiring safe families and opportunities for their children – Adams touched on how the younger generation of Democrats is now calling for a ceasefire in Israel. As of Nov 21, over 14,000 Palestinians and Israelis en toto have been killed in the ongoing war, including 53 journalists – 46 Palestinian, 4 Israeli and 3 Lebanese – and over 100 UNRWA aid workers. As reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, dozens of young people massed outside the entrance to the California Democratic Party convention on Nov. 18,  chanting a message for California Democrats who don't support a ceasefire in the Middle East: "In November, we'll remember!" Demonstrators also shouted "Ceasefire now!" as Rep. Katie Porter, who does not support a humanitarian pause, was speaking. It took the state party chair, Rusty Hicks, to walk on stage and demand that "every candidate will be heard" to quiet them. "There's quite a strong demographic or age divide even in the Democratic party. On the older side, they tend to support this current war," Adams said turning to Kucinich for his comment. Being in the Democratic Party when he was a public servant, Kucinich noted how the voices of the young people should be heard as they are those who are calling to us from a future that has not yet been realized. "[They are] asking us to create a world of peace where they may live out their lives, their destiny and their loved ones. And we must listen to what they're telling us about our country and policies. They are the voices of the country -- that needs to become more than it is right now, a military juggernaut, just a heavy fist that can be put on a table anywhere in the world and just an assertion of some kind of omnipotent power," he stressed. He also said that the generation's voice has a conscience and moral compass and cares about its people and its children. "When you love your children and the children of the U.S., you must also love the children of Israel, of the Palestinians and children from all over the world," he added.
