As illegals pour in by the thousands, New York City sees surge in TUBERCULOSIS cases

The Big Apple is seeing a "dramatic" rise in tuberculosis (TB) cases as illegal alien "migrants" flood the city by the tens of thousands. Preliminary data suggests that there are at least 500 known cases of TB in New York City, a figure that is 20 percent higher than last year. For the first time in more than a decade, in fact, tuberculosis cases are at their highest level in the city. Health officials worry that TB will spread well beyond just New York City, especially as hospitals and health clinics are completely overwhelmed by all the illegals coming in to give birth and obtain other "free" services on the taxpayer dime. Since this past spring, more than 100,000 illegal migrants have arrived in New York City. Many of them are living in cramped housing conditions, which are ripe for the spread of TB. Overall, TB cases have increased across America by about five percent this year compared to last, this according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). U.S. no longer vaccinates for TB because injections are too dangerous

TB used to be one of the deadliest infections in the world, killing about half of those infected by it. The death rate later dropped, which some credit to a "vaccine" that is no longer even administered in the U.S. due to serious dangers. Known as Bacillus Calmetter-Guerin, the jab for TB is no longer given – and has not been given since the 1970s – because of risks, not to mention the fact that TB cases precipitously declined all on their own during that time, likely due to improved public sanitation conditions. Patients and health care workers who have had close contact with a TB patient can still get jabbed with Bacillus Calmetter-Guerin if they so choose, but they do so at their own risk. The primary way doctors in the U.S. treat TB today is by administering a cocktail of drugs over the course of eight months. "Previously infected or exposed people, however, face the risk of 'latent' infections, when the bacteria remains dormant in the lungs ready to emerge should the immune system weaken again," one report warns. Elizabeth Lovinger from the advocacy Group Treatment Action Group told Politico recently that "this is definitely a more dramatic resurgence than we would have probably expected," referring to the massive rise in TB cases accompanying the illegal invasion. "When there are particularly high spikes in TB and other infectious diseases in New York City, that tends to be kind of a bellwether for the rest of the country." During the early days of the COVID "pandemic" when millions of people were stuck inside, TB cases fell, likely because nobody was allowed to go in for testing. In New York City, there are only four clinics dedicated to handling TB patients, and one of them is at risk of impending closure. That one is the only one in Manhattan, by the way. The TB clinic that used to exist in Washington Heights was converted to a COVID treatment ward during the scamdemic, though there are said to be plans to have it eventually reopen as a TB clinic now that COVID is done. "We have pioneered treatments and therapies in New York City," announced a spokesman for the New York City Department of Health, adding that the Big Apple is still a "leader in TB care." "We also launched a new latent tuberculosis infection provider outreach campaign to increase screening, diagnosis and treatment among at-risk New Yorkers."
